With products directed toward the retail and institutional markets, the Consumer Products Division fills two very important consumer niches. The first includings directed toward the institutional market. Here the division sells surgical towels and mattress pads to hospitals and other medical facilities. It also attracts hotel/motel and restaurant business by selling tablecloth and napkin products both directly to the properties and to numerous industrial laundries that service the textile rental industry. A second important niche is infant bedding products for the retail market, such as crib sheets, crib blankets, bumper guards, and comforters. CPD customers include many major retail chains throughout the United States, with a favorite product being infant gift sets, incorporating a coordinating division of CPD products packaged together.

The plants that make up the Consumer Products Division include "cut and sew" operations in Johnston and McCormick, both in South Carolina. Johnston primarily producing infant bedding, while McCormick produces napery and medical facility fabrics. Arkwright, also part of the Consumer Products Division, is a greige mill located in Spartanburg, SC which is used to feed cloth into the other plants for cutting and sewing. Arkwright also sells fabric to the outside market.
