Located in the small town of Trion, Georgia, Mount Vernon Mills operates the largest denim manufacturing facility in the United States.

Denim Fabrics

To meet the ever-changing needs of current fashion and function trends, Mount Vernon Mills offers a broad and diverse denim product line, covering all ranges of fabric needs from basic workwear denim to premium high fashion denim.

Denim fabrics range from 6 oz denim shirting weights to 15 oz workwear denim.

Denim fabrics can be produced in a vast array of shades from Ice Blue to super-rich dark indigos.

We currently have around 90 established denim shades in our library, available in all denim weaves and constructions.

American Grown and Made

All Mount Vernon Mills denim is made in the United States, and our cotton mill only uses American grown cotton. Blends range from 100% Cotton to blends that include polyester, Lycra®, Tencel®, Nylon, and other specialty blends.

Performance Features

Our denims are woven using ring-spun, Amsler® ring-spun, open-end, and Amsler® open-end yarns. We offer:

  • Regular Preshrunk, Mercerized Flat Finish, Moisture Wicking, Water Repellant, Anti-Microbial, and Fire Resistant fabric finishes.
  • Stretch denim for all needs ranging from comfort stretch up to super stretch 40% to 50% with excellent recovery.
